Please make sure you are precise in your request. They don't probably don't know what you mean by "Is the system down?" or "Why can't I print?". Be specific, explain what kind of system you are on (Operating system, AU equipment or personal etc).
If they need to see you in person remember to explain when you are available, especially if you are often out of office.
