The Department of Mathematics manages 6 guest apartments and 12 guest rooms located on the top floor of buildings 1530 (A), 1535 (B) and 1540 (R). The rooms/apartments are primarily reserved for postdocs, associate professors and professors affiliated with Aarhus University, and are not intended for PhD students.
The apartments are primarily reserved for families arriving in Aarhus from abroad.

If your stay totals more than 29 consecutive nights you do not pay any VAT.
Guests are requested to come to the Information Office at the end of their stay and pay for the accommodation.
Please note that we only accept credit card payment (VISA and Mastercard). Payment internally within AU can only take place if you provide us with a project and activity number.
Cancellations made before 12 noon on the day before arrival are free of charge. If you fail to arrive without cancelling in advance, or if you cancel after 12 noon on the day before arrival, you will be charged for one night.
If a cancellation is made after 12 noon on Friday, you will be charged for the first 3 nights (Fri-Mon).
From 30 January, 2017 your car must be registered via Digital Parkering if you want to use the parking areas of Aarhus University without receiving a fine. You need an AU ID to be able to register your car. You can register here:

If you do not have a AU ID, please contact the Information office and receive a permit for the duration of your stay.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer on each guest floor (building 1530, 1535 and 1540). Use of washing machine and tumble dryer is free of charge, but guests must provide their own detergents.
The canteen of the Department of Mathematics is located in the basement of building 1530 and is open on weekdays. The canteen accepts VISA cards and payment in cash.

If you have problems accessing the internet, please contact your host or contact person, or the ST IT support.
Keycards and codes for the rooms and apartments must be picked up from the Information Office by you or your host/contact at the University.
If you arrive outside opening hours, please arrange for your contact at the University to pick up the keycard and code for you. For safety reasons, we do not send key cards/codes by mail.
